Opinions on sec 1 Language Arts online learning and the L.A. lessons so far

This blog entry is to talk about my opinions on the sec 1 Language Arts online learning and the L.A. lessons. Although I am not really used to the format of it all, but I think I got the hang of it on the overall. The confusing part: as we have just become sec 1 students, we have much to learn and we have already adapted ourselves to our primary learning styles so everything now is a 179 degree change. (e.g. The comprehension question style ,the comparitive question,the composition being fictional etc.)For the IT learning at home ,that was the hardest part of all as I am literately not good with computers and stuff like that. All in all, I think that language arts is an interesting subject. Do you?

Interpersonal IT lesson (Interview)

Q: What are your opinions on the necessity to communicate in a relatinship?

A: I feel that communication is essential between the two parties in a relationship as miscommunication often leads to misunderstandings, which could be detrimental in any relationship as it forms negative emotions for the wrong reasons.

Q: Okay, then what are your opinions about crime and punishment?

A: I feel that punishment is a necessity as it not only teaches the person that committed the crime a lesson, it also warns other people of the dire consequences of committing it. If people did not recieve their adequate punishment after committing a crime, they will not be scared of the government and chaos will reign in the island. Besides, if there is no punishment for law breakers, why even have laws or a police force? So it is best to punish a person fairly for whatever crime he/she commites.

Lamb to the slaughter (Diary version by Lim Jun Yi)

Dear diary, I have killed my husband today. Although I loved him very much, he was unfaithful to me.Let me tell you how it happened. It all happened today evening, he came home and actedly strangly .He was more quiet than usual. At first, I just thought that he was just tired. But then , he said that he wanted to leave me for another woman. I could not believe my ears at that moment. I tried pretending that I did not hear that but when he tried to leave and when I tried to stop him(to no avail), he said ,"try and stop me." This angered me. I took the leg of the lamb and hit it on the back of his head when he was not looking. He dropped dead onto the ground with a thud. I put the leg of lamb into the oven and planned the alubi. Once I came back from the grocery store, I called the police. I tried to act as pitifully and innocently as possible so as to reduce their suspicion. Who knew that when I asked them to eat the leg of lamb, they actually did! I giggled at a corner when one of them finally found out that the leg of lamb was the murder weapon ......
